World building is strong as usual, but the pace has dropped to a near standstill. Jawad's seem to plan big, but rarely feels real as is evidenced by his capture and afterwards. Perhaps these sections can be abridged a bit to make the plot more taut.

Als to after such a gruesome torture, jawad is rumbling after some sleep feels off!

The romantic undertones seem a bit off to me I feel The romance needs a bigger build up between Jawad and Zaida the embracing each other scene seemed to come out of nowhere but that’s just me.
