Peter Jackson decided to get us Hobbit fans all excited yesterday by releasing a special SDCC edition of “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” poster on his Facebook page.
Without any explanation or ‘check out this piece of awesomeness’ type comment he simply asked: “Anyone else excited about San Diego Comic Con?”
That there is one… erm… angry Smaug; the fearsome dragon they hid from us all during the course of the build up to the second movie. He certainly isn’t hiding anymore as he rains down fire on Bard who stands ready to face him (good job, cause we’re not doing it).
For those looking forward to seeing how it goes for Bard, the final instalment will be released in cinemas on 12 December 2014.
