We’ve seen a number of trailers for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie, Interstellar, but none of them seemed to give a true feeling of what the film was about or the kind of atmosphere it would have.
Well, this latest one just released by Fox looks to change that. We find out that the plot will follow Mathew McConaughey as he searches for another home for the planet Earth. Tension will be added by the fact that McConaughey only has a short amount of time to find this new home and the warning that even if he does find it, “you might have to decide between seeing your children again and the future of the human race.”
As tense as the plot promises to be, the trailer shows off some absolutely incredible CGI. I imagine this movie will be like Gravity in that the effects will supplement a story about the human condition, as opposed to dominating it (as happens in many Sci-Fi action movies), but I have to say I’m looking forward to seeing more of them – the whole thing just looks so damned impressive.
